Default How do you edit or delete objects in Insert Objects box in Word?

In Word 2003, how do you edit or delete objects which do no longer work in
the Insert Objects drop-down box?

The list of objects to insert comes from the registry. I doubt that anyone
would dare to edit the registry directly, but perhaps you could use a
registry cleaner to get rid of the un-used items?

Note, however, that it would be safer to reinstall the "broken" applications.
