Open the document. Press Ctrl+A to select all of the text. Click on
Tools | Language | Set Language | Mark selected text as: English(UK) | uncheck the "Do not check spelling or grammar" and "Detect language automatically" boxes | OK. Press F7 to rerun spellcheck. sue4417 wrote: Even thought I have changed Language and set English UK as a default, it changes in the middle of checking a document to English US - any suggestions how to solve this. Make sure to shut off "Detect Language Automatically" in the Set Language
dialog. If that doesn't work, are you using an English UK keyboard? (Windows Control Panel, Regional Options dialog) "sue4417" wrote: Even thought I have changed Language and set English UK as a default, it changes in the middle of checking a document to English US - any suggestions how to solve this.
