Problem when I format text (ex. bold or center) it reformats the .
When I reformat text in a word doc say to turn it bold or to center it, it
reformats the entire document. I undo the change and the document reverts to the previous format but the text I formatted is now correct. |

Turn off "automatically update" in the style definitions
(starting with the Normal style) as described in http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...eformatted.htm . That fixed it all right. Thank for the quick response, it was very annoying.
