Watermarks need to be tied to the page, not to a table.
If you only need the watermark on the page where the table is, then you can insert next page section breaks before and after the table page, and then just add the watermark in for the section containing the table. "TawiMunsoor" wrote: How can I add a watermark on a table . Word2002 |

basically, you have two choices:
1. insert a watermark as you would do for documents generally but, if your table fits on one page and you only want to watermark that page, you'd need to insert section breaks before & after (with 'same as previous switched off) 2.
