Default How do I go back to an earlier version of a word document?

I accidentally changed a word file and I wanted to know how to get back to
the original version, please help. Thanks.

In the unlikely event that you still have the document open from the time
you made this error, you can use undo.

If not, open the backup, if you have the option to save backup files set.

Otherwise you'll have to retype it.
