Changing "My Data Sources"
Is everyone a robot? I just do not understand Word. I do not want my data
sources in the My Data Sources directory, I don't even know where that is. I want it in particular place, and it's different with each merge. How can I change it so that each time it does not default to My Data Sources and have I have to spend 15 minutes clicking my way to where I need to go. At the very least, have it default to My Documents. Thank you many times. |

Changing "My Data Sources"
I wish I knew the answer to this. What I do know is that it can't be changed
from Tools | Options | File Locations, so I'm guessing it's a Registry key. What I'd really like is to see it default to the current folder, since I usually keep my data sources (when they're Word tables rather than Excel sheets) in the same folder with the mail merge main document. -- Suzanne S. Changing "My Data Sources"
Thanks! I agree, the data source is usually wherever the main document is.
