What you say makes sense. It is acting just like the regular hanging indent
in the same situation. (So far I am not overly thrilled with Word2007 - but I
guess I will have to get used to it.)

The hanging indent is part of the bulleted list. Looks good in Word
2003
and
on Word 2007 as long as it is in Compatability Mode. But as soon as I
go
into
pure docx format, I loose the hanging indent.
