Default Why every line on my word document prints a full page?

I have been using Office Word for long time. Something changed. When I start
a new document - even by typing it - every line of text ending with "enter"
or "shift eneter" prints a full page.

How do I correct it?
Thank you.

What version of Word is this?

If you choose File - Print Layout, does it display correctly? Or does it
display as separate pages?

Some things to check... File - Page Setup - Paper tab, Paper size. Margins
tab: are margins set correctly (i.e., on the order of 1" all around, and not
something like 5 or 6 inches for top or bottom).

Another thing to check... Format - Paragraph - Line and Page Breaks tab. Is
Keep with Next or Page Break Before enabled? If so, is it possible that this
has changed at the style level such that everything is formatted that way?
In the Modify Style box for the current style (Normal?), is Automatically
Update selected?
