can you lighten the highlight in Word?
The available highlight colors have not changed through Word 2003, and most
of them are too dark to be useful. But you can apply shading to text (Format | Borders and Shading), selecting from millions of colors. The advantage to text shading is that it can be saved as a character style. -- Suzanne S.
