Compare content match percentage between documents.
Hello,
I have a following scenario: I have multiple document types like doc, html, text and so on. Out of these documents one word document is prepared by referring to them. Now, I want to compare this final document with all the source documents referred and want to know how much percentage of the content has been referred from the source documents. I tried to use the "Compare and Merge Documents" ability of MS Word, but it only compares the two documents at one time, and also it does not give me the result in percentage, that what percentage amount has been referred from the source documents to make up the final document. I tried to find some file merger utility that can extract text from various file types(doc, html, txt etc) and make it a final one source document with all the text in it, but couldn't find any Would really appreciate, if someone could provide valuable inputs on how I can compare my one Word document against multiple file types and come to know the percentage of data referred from the source documents. Thank You, Saurabh Khanna. |
