Default text editing

I'm very new to Word [2002], and just need the basic answer to how do I edit
a document? I scanned a document to the clipboard and pasted it into word,
but I can't figure out how to edit the text. Help.

If you scanned it, it is probably a graphic. You need to use OCR software to
convert it to editable text. Your scanner probably came with some kind of
OCR software; you need to read the scanner manual or Help file to find out
how to use it.
