Every time I open Find or Find-Replace, the window opens up with "Use
wildcards" checked. I can't find anything in the Options that might be causing this, so I wonder whether Venky62 turned it on in his Transpose macro, but didn't then include a line to turn it off? Can this be remedied? Also, if one is going to modify that macro a bit, would it be possible to add a line or two to delete the space that Word adds when the punctuation mark ends up after a close-parenthesis or close-quote? (It can't simply say "Delete preceding space after transposing characters," because if the transposed characters happened to be the first two letters of a word, it would close the word up to the preceding one.) |
