My desktop tab disappeared, don't know why. someone instructed me how to
turn on the classic shell and change the value to zero so my desktop tab
would appear. I did this and YEAH, the tab is now visible again but I am
unable to click on any of the background images. Once I click on the desktop
tab then I am frozen and can only cancel or change to a different tab. How
can i fix this??

This group is for questions about Microsoft Word. Your problem has nothing to do
with Word.

You need to post your question in a group for Windows, such as
