Default Use Macros w/ Combo Box to insert a file

I am trying to figure out how select an item in a combo box (ie: "0001") to
insert a file from my desktop named 0001.doc onto my document named new.dot.
I cannot seem to get the right coding. I will also need to have each item in
the combo box drop down menu, when selected, pull up its own associated file.
(ie: selecting 0002 will insert file 0002.doc).

I am using MSWord 2000.

Thank you!

Hard to guess what's wrong with your code without seeing it. Post a message
with the code to microsoft.public.word.vba.general.
