header issue
I am using Word 02 XP. When I open a new document the curser starts at the
middle of the page. When I check the header (no text) I find it takes up ½ of that page, forcing the curser to its middle of the page position. I cant get rid of this oversized header. When I fill up the first page the oversized header jumps to the second page and the first page header returns to a normal size (no text). I have also found that other users of this computer can open word documents under their profiles and their documents dont have this issue. |

header issue
The problem could be the vertical alignment setting:
Select File Page Setup Layout tab. Make sure €śVertical alignment€ť is set to €śTop€ť. If you change the setting, click the €śDefault€ť button to change the setting in your Normal.dot template. -- Regards Lene Fredborg - Microsoft MVP (Word) DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "Mikey" wrote: I am using Word 02 XP.
