Default How do I synchronize 2 Word dropdowns to open at the same time?

I made to identical dropdowns (one at top of page, one at bottom) and I need
them both to open and close at the same time when either one is selected.
Basically I need these two dropdowns acting as one.....how do I do this? I'm
using Word 2000. Thanks!

Hi ?B?Qm9i?=,

From which toolbar were the dropdowns inserted? WHY do you need them both to
drop down synchronously? (I'm not even sure windows allows anything like
that...)
