Table of figures
I have a long document with 2 figures in it, and i am required to put a table of figures in. I have added captions to the figures, but wen i go to create a table of figures it says, Error! No table of figures entries found. Help please -- joemoran7 |

Table of figures
If your figures are wrapped, Word by default puts the caption in a text box.
Word can't see text in text boxes for purposes of generating a TOC or TOF. Two possible solutions: 1. If you don't really need to wrap text around the figure, format it as In Line With Text and put the caption below it (or above it) in an ordinary text paragraph. 2. If you do need to wrap text around the figure (and caption), do (1), then select the figure and caption together and insert a frame (you can use the Insert Frame button on the Forms toolbar). You'll probably have to remove the frame border (Format | Borders and Shading: None) and perhaps adjust the position of the frame, but Word will be able to find the text. -- Suzanne S.
