Microsoft word document opens as boxes...no text
Trying to open a microsoft word document that had text on it...when I open it
seems to be pages of small boxes...anyone help? |

That happens if the document contains non-text characters; for example binary coding. A common example is if a PDF file or graphics file is opened in Word. Since you say the "document had text on it", I'd guess it was a PDF file. You would need Adobe (Acrobat) Reader. Paddy |
