Default How to read "Professional Write" texts using "Word"?

I have older documents which were written using a DOS program "Professional
Write 2" (PW2). My newly installed Microsoft Word cannot read it although I
have tried several of the "other" codes the pop up window listed.
"Word" can read .prn files allright but no PW2 files.
What can be done?

Maybe nothing. Did you try Google to see if there was anything at all on the
web about that program?

Even "Recover Text from Any File" doesn't help?

You'll need a third party converter such as Wordport to do this.

I know this doesn't even approach answering your question but Professional
Write is/was my all time favorite of word processors and, likewise,
Professional File for my simple database needs. I still miss them after all
these years.
