Default how do i do algebra in word

What do you mean by "do algebra"? Do you want to write equations? If
so, use the Equation Editor (Insert Object Microsoft Equation
3.0).

You may have to go through the Office installer again and choose the
Custom installation to get the editor on your PC. It isn't included in
the Typical installation.
