Default How can I tone down a water mark so it is not so clear?

I have a page I receieved from our head office that has a watermark on it
that is brighter than the printing. How can I tone down this watermark or
how can I save the print only from my document so I can print it out on plain
paper?

A watermark is nothing more than a graphic that's anchored in a header
and given "behind text" formatting.

To change its appearance, click View Header and then click in the
watermark image to select it. You should see the Picture toolbar, but
if not then you can use View Toolbars Picture to get it. The
fourth through sixth buttons on the Picture toolbar let you increase
or decrease the contrast and brightness of the image.

If you want to print only the text of the document, and if the
watermark is the only graphic present, just go to Tools Options
Print and uncheck the box for "Drawing objects". Alternatively, you
can open the header, select and delete the watermark image, print the
document, and then click the Undo button to restore the watermark.
