Default how to delete a blank page from a word document

i have an 9 page document but pages 6 and 7 are blank, and i cant seem to
delete them, i have tried and tried please help.

Turn your show/hide button on so you can see what's keeping the pages there.

It's also feasible that some text on, say, at the top of page 8, is
paragraph formatted with "page break before".
