Default How to delete file that was auto formated to read only after?

I was writing an article when the computer crashed. Word the saved the file
as read only. I need to continue the article but, I cannot make changes to
it, save it or delete it. The ideal would be to delete the file, so that I do
not have two files with the same name and save space.

Right-click on the file, select 'Properties', uncheck the 'ReadOnly'
attribute. Does this fix your problem? If not, post back and tell
exactly which OS (Operating System) you are using, and the specific
error message that you are getting.

You will need to release the lock file - see
http://www.gmayor.com/what_to_do_when_word_crashes.htm - before you can
proceed.
