Default cursor moves on its own-word 2003

I have Word 2003, and I will be typing all of a sudden cursor will move on
its own and I will be typing in a random point. Please help asap

Default cursor moves on its own-word 2003

Two possible reasons

a) you are accidentally hitting the touchpad on your laptop whilst typing
b) you have a microphone switched on and speech recognition software
ruinning

it is neither of these two issues any other suggestions.
