How to select here to [Find xyz] ??
I need to select all text from the current insertion point (curser location)
up to the next occurance of the text string "xyz" - on the keyboard. (I want it in a macro eventually.) I can't seem to integrate the Find (F3) function into the Select function. Is this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Bob (Using Word 2000, and sometimes 2003) |

Press F8, then do the Find.
F8 is Extend Selection. If you press F8 and type a "t" for example, it will extend the selection up to the next "t". If you press F8 and then do a Find, it will extend the selection up to the found text. -- Herb Tyson MS MVP Author of the Word 2007 Bible Blog: http://word2007bible.herbtyson.com Web: http://www.herbtyson.com "InOverMyHead" wrote in message ...
