How do I import/insert an MS Access Report into Word
I need to import/insert an MS Access Report (that includes a picture) into a
Word Document. I have tried saving it as a PDF and then inserting it, but that doesn't work and when I cut and paste (from the PDF) the results are too fuzzy. Help! |

An Access report can be exported to an RTF file (File, Export..., change the
file type dropdown to RTF), which can be opened in Word. -- Bill Foley, Microsoft MVP (PowerPoint) Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor - XP www.pttinc.com Check out PPT FAQs at: http://www.rdpslides.com/pptfaq/ Check out Word FAQs at: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/index.htm "Liz Taylor" Liz wrote in message ... Thanks Bill:
When I opened the RTF File in Word it did not include the picture (which is actually a graph). I could insert the graph separately, but I really need the graph and text from the Access Report to be combined into a picture so that it can't be changed (it's a security thing). If you are trying to create a report that can not be easily changed
for security reasons then use the Snapshot format for saving the Access report instead of trying to use Word. Note the recipients of the report need the Snapshot viewer to view the file which can be downloaded from: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en -- Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for assistance by email can not be acknowledged. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Beth Melton Microsoft Office MVP Word FAQ: http://mvps.org/word TechTrax eZine: http://mousetrax.com/techtrax/ MVP FAQ site: http://mvps.org/ "Liz Taylor" wrote in message ...
