Equation Editor is included on your Office 2003 CD, but it is not
installed by default. You can add the feature to your installation by inserting the CD and clicking on Start | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Microsoft Office 2003 | Change | Add/Remove Features. You'll find Equation Editor in the "Office Tools" category.
