Default Problem with Circles

I want to put a circle with a number added as text and lay it on top of a
screen print that I copied into a document. The number is a 2 digit number
and I want to use Arial 10 Bold. The problem is that Word forces me to use a
Height / Width of .5" by .5". This is too large of a circle but if I make it
smaller I lose some of the number on the 2 digit number. My experience so
far is that Word really acts quirky with these circles.

How can I make the circle fit tighter so it fits nice and tight around a 2
digit number that is Arial 10 Bold?

Or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated on how to make a
circle with a number added as text and make it .3" by .3" OR .4" by .4"
and be able to add a 2 digit number and have the number show properly.

Thank you for your help.

You can make the circle any size you want by holding down the Alt key
while drawing the circle.

Default Problem with Circles

Double-click on the hashed boundary of the circle to bring up the Format
AutoShape dialog. On the Text Box tab, reduce the internal margins to 0".
