Is it possible to format a font color as "transparent"?
My document is a workbook, which is designed with a particular style
designated for the answers to appear in red when printing the teacher version of the workbook; when printing the student version, I change that style's font from red to white. This makes the answers disappear and would work perfectly except for the fact that there is a gray watermark in the background; any answers that cross the watermark show up. I was wishing for the ability to make the text transparent instead of white...is that possible? |

Hidden text doesn't take up space, which is usually the issue in documents
of this nature. -- Suzanne S. And, if you need those answers to take up space, put them in a frame that
will hold the space for you. The frame can be a part of your style. -- Charles Kenyon Word New User FAQ & Web Directory: http://addbalance.com/word Intermediate User's Guide to Microsoft Word (supplemented version of Microsoft's Legal Users' Guide) http://addbalance.com/usersguide See also the MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/ which is awesome!
