Default How do you type across an underline w/o having it move w the type

How do I lock out a section of a sentence so someone can type into an
underline without having the underline expand?

Example: with a selling price of $__________, for the warranty period of
________.

See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFms/LinesInForms.htm. A better
approach is often to use a MacroButton NoMacro field for this (see
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/TblsFldsFm...acroButton.htm for
instructions). The "prompt text" can be a series of underlines. That allows
users to click on the field and replace it with whatever content is
appropriate, and the text will reflow naturally.
