Ctrl+Shift+Spacebar to insert a nonbreaking space
Ctrl+Shift+Hyphen to insert a nonbreaking hyphen -- Suzanne S. Barnhill Microsoft MVP (Word) Words into Type Fairhope, Alabama USA Word MVP FAQ site: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. "LAD" wrote in message ... In WordPerfect I could insert a "hard" space or a "hard" hyphen between words or numbers I wanted to keep on the same line. i.e. April 14, 2005 with "hard" spaces would stay on the same line rather than the day or year going to the next line. Is there a command I can use to do this in Word? |
