Word 97 "cannot open data source"
I want to insert data from excel 97 to word 97 via mail merge.
When I try to "get Data", it says: "Word unable to open the data source". Please help! My email is Thank you so much! |

I want to insert data from excel 97 to word 97 via mail merge. When I try to "get Data", it says: "Word unable to open the data source" At what point in working under "Get Data" do you see this message? Please describe the exact steps you're going through, here. Also, are you choosing a particular connection method (DDE, ODBC, spreadsheet converter)?
