Try the generic fix for Word: close Word, find Normal.DOT and delete it. It
will be recreated when you reopen Word. Make sure your Folder Options view is set to show all files and extensions. "JBull" wrote: In a new document, when I try to record a macro, the "Record New Macro" iteme on the menu pad is disabled. Does anyone know why? |

NO! Always *rename* normal.dot, then if the 'fix' doesn't work, you can
restore your original settings. Is this document protected?
