Default uppercase convert to lowercase?

i have office word 97. i have typed four long letters in caps!!!!i want to
know...if it is possible to convert them to lower case...without retyping
them....help!

Select all the text. Then click Format, click Change Case, and choose Sentence
case.

After that, you will have to read the letters and correct any mistakes. For
example, if you used the names of people or places that should be capitalized,
fix them.
