[suz]

I've received a word document which has what appears to be a background
watermark, but when I try to get rid of it by going into format background,
there's nothing in the background - "no watermark" is checked. It's not in
the header either. Any ideas what it is and how I can get rid of it? I've
tried the help topics for embedded text and links but can't seem to get rid
of it.

View | Header and Footer. Select the watermark and press Delete.
