document outline and links
I have a large document that will be posted for everyone in the company and
customers to view. Some employees are interested in only a few topics while others use the whole document for training and then the trainees use only the topics they work on. I wanted to break it down into a master/sub document format. This way my customers can search on the topic they want and click on the sub document to expand it. I think that the master/subdocument only works in outline view. When I switch to print view the subdocument expands making the convenience of having this format obsolete. The consensus of the powers that be is that the document will be posted in print view. Any suggestions on how to break this document up (maybe with hyperlinks) so I can keep the document master and sub documents in print view? Can you give me instructions? |
