Default How do I turn off "delete yes/no" in word??? Can't find option.

When I select text to delete, a message pops up in the lower left-hand corner
of the browser bar that says "delete (yes/no)" I cannot find any way to turn
this option off!

In Word, click on Tools | Options | General | uncheck the two
boxes for WordPerfect help and navigation | OK.
