How do I do a 'send as' for mail merge?
Hi everyone, I'm doing a mail merge for my manager and I would like to send
it out as them. I have send as priveleges, how do I go about sending the mailmerge out as my manager? Do I need to setup his outlook profile on my PC? Thanks, FC |

In order to send mails purporting to be from your manager, you will have to
send from an account that has his data and that must be the default e-mail account at your terminal. The simplest way would be to set up an e-mail account (as default for the duration of the exercise) which has the manager's return e-mail address details and add his sig. block. This can be a duplicate of your own account with different contact information. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org Fartcatcher wrote: Hi everyone, I'm doing a mail merge for my manager and I would like to send it out as them. I setup a profile for my boss and got Outlook to prompt for which profile to use. So if I need to send out the mail merge as him, I choose his profile. Thanks! FC |
