Merge field print instead of data.
I created a data base in Excel, created a letter in Word and went through the
steps of Mail Merge. My field shows the merge fields instead of my data. I do not have the Field codes box checked. How do I correct this? |

If the print-out shows the fields and not the content, Tools options
print uncheck field codes controls this. if you are talking about the merge document, ALT+F9 toggles the display. If neither, have you entered fields or simply typed the entries? -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org CCrane1 wrote: I created a data base in Excel, created a letter in Word and went through the steps of Mail Merge.
