embed midi file in word
I don't know if I understand embeded objects correctly but I have a word
document that contains a list of lyrics for songs and I have inserted the appropriate midi file for each song as an embeded midi object. My understanding was that I could then load this file on any computer that had Word and by double clicking the midi object, the midi file would play. It works on my computer but if I load it on another computer I get a dialogue box asking for the location of the midi file. This sounds to me like the midi file is linked rather than embeded. Is my understanding at fault here or is there something else that I am missing? |
