Default Copy/paste tab settings?

Hello. If I have a section of text that has its tabs set just the way I want
them, is there anyway that I can "copy" these tab settings and then "paste"
them to another selection of text instead of having to reset them for that
section? I'm familiar with the format painter, which is great, but it will
take all of the formatting and apply it to the new section fo text, and I
only want to apply the tab settings and nothing else. Thanks.

If you use the Tab dialog to format a paragraph's tabs, you can immediately
click in another paragraph and press F4 to Repeat Formatting for the
additional paragraph.

Other than that... you would need a macro to selectively copy the tab
formatting from one paragraph to another.

Click in the paragraph that is formatted the way you want it and press
Ctrl+Shift+C (Copy Format). Click in any other paragraph and press
Ctrl+Shift+V (Paste Format). You can continue pasting this format as long as
you want (with other actions interspersed) until you copy a different
format.
