mail merge template
I am trying to create a mail merge document. I understand that it has to be saved as a template. (doc). I am opening a data source in CRM, clicking on the particular data that I need. Somehow however, when I am ready to merge a document, the document specifies that data requested is not an available source. All other features of Mail Merge is working correctly. What am I missing? Or not doing?
Thanks, mmdmalta |

When you say you are opening a data source in CRM, what are you actually doing - step by step? -- Hope this helps. Thanks for your response. CRM is the Tiger Paw data base that I am trying to open in mail merge. I follow the mail merge instructions, but an error message comes up in window once I click on my mail merge icon with the database. the message tells me that it doesn't recogize that particular data that it is not included in the actual data source, when infact it is. This is even a complicated thing to explain. But if you can help that would be great. Thanks, MMD |

mail merge template
I have never heard of a Tiger Paw data base. Can data be exported from it
into some other form, for example to Excel. If so, do that and then use the Excel file as the data source for the mail merge. When I Google for Tiger Paw Database, the most relevant article tells me all about the company and provide the following Excecutive Analysis of the capability of the software. The blank under the great job section is not mine; There is no mention of mailmerge, but it apparently does to an acceptable job of "Third-Party Product Support" whatever that means. Executive Summary: The program does a great job with the following: The program does an acceptable job with the following: Company - Financial Condition Company - Management Team Sales & Marketing Strategy Pricing Credibility Research & Development Strategy Software Quality System Architecture Customization & Adaptability Application Integration Capabilities Business Process Management Capabilities International Support Ease of Use Documentation Training Support Technical Support Interaction Capabilities Database Synchronization Capabilities Implementation Issues Account Management Contact Management Activity Management Time Management Outlook Integration Knowledge Management Capabilities Reporting Capabilities CRM Analytics Word Processing & Office Support Marketing Support Capabilities Field Sales Support Capabilities Call Center Support Capabilities Sales Impact Sales Management Capabilities Partner Management Capabilities Customer Support Capabilities eBusiness Support Capabilities Back Office Integration Executive (C-Level) Decision Support ASP Support Industry Specific Solutions Third-Party Product Support -- Hope this helps.
