Default New documents have some formatting I do not recognize and cannot .

All of a sudden new documents have some type of formatting I did not request
(at least intentionally) and which I cannot change. The cursor is at the
very tip-top of the page and the pages look "funky"...running into each other
at the top and bottom. The top margin cannot be changed by using Page Setup.
This happened once before, but corrected itself before it became a real
problem for me. Any advice? HELP!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I had been all over the tools menu put did
not know what in the world it was I should be looking for. Do you have any
idea what it is that I did to put this option in place? I am pretty certain
it is a keystroke, since I know I did not go into the tools menu and do it
deliberately. Thank you, again!

If you read the article, you should have learned that what you did was click
on the space between pages.
