According to your system specs it isn't surprising - although you don't
really state exactly what the problem is or how it's manifesting itself.

Vista alone requires 512 MB RAM *Minimum* and 35 GB HD Space *Minimum*

Office 2007 (Basic) requires at least another 256 MB RAM & 1.5 GB HD space.

Especially if the HD free space is fragmented, that doesn't leave much in
the way of available resources.
