Hi ?B?bWFydHlncmVlbg==?=,

I was wondering why some documents take a long time to opening

There are two common reasons this can happen:

1. The document contains lots of links to outside information;
this requires time to resolve

2. The document is attached to a template that Word can no
longer locate.
