Default how do i stop a log from printing about changes made in word?

i was trying to customize features in word today and noweverytime i go to
print a word document (2007 version), it prints a second page with details
(like a log file). Some of them include- file name, directory, template,
title, subject, author, keywords, comments, creation date, change number,
last save on, last save by, total editing time, last printed on, as of last
complete printing, number of pages, words, characters. How can i turn this off
so that it only prints the original document??????

Tools Options Print - I believe you've set the check to Include Document
Properties. Clear the check & you should be OK.

there is no "tools" tab in 2007, but i went to word options, in the print
section the only box check is "scale content for A4 or 8.5x 11" paper sizes,
and under "when printing this document" the only box checked is print only
the data from a form???

Hi Aaron,

Can't speak for Graham but I'm not at all clear on what you mean when you
say it prints letters and labels but not the actual document. Can you
elaborate?

Cheers.

Could it be that he's adding an envelope to a doc? If that's the case
perhaps he's a victim of the dreaded Section Break/Change Orientation
malady. Perhaps the envelope prints as a landscape page but the letter
(portrait) doesn't follow.

One other possiblity (?) in addition to Bob's suggestion ...

If what you mean is that it goes through the motion of printing letters and
labels but nothing actually appears on the printed page, and you have a
printer with a black cartridge and a colour cartridge, then check that both
of the cartridges have ink. When it was printing the document properties it
may have been using cartridge A and when printing the document content it may
be using cartridge B.
