Hi ?B?TXIgUA==?=,
I want to display the filename of a document with word but with the without the file extension. Is there a simple way to do this? Preferably without resorting to macros! The FileName field can do this, IF your system is set up to not display file extensions. I would never opt for this, however, as not displaying file extensions in Windows can cause all kinds of problems. But the only other possibility is a macro.
