I lost my toolbar in WORD. I can only use keyboard functions and this makes
it difficult to do other than basic tasks. It was there one day, gone the
next. I still have the toolbars in EXCEL. I have tried everything I can
think of. It was suggested I reinstall the Office 2000 but it seems that
there must be another reason this disappeared. Help!

Go to View then Toolbars and select the ones you want.

As you suspect, reinstalling wouldn't help. See
