Default Why's it so hard to search this community?

This is a great and very useful community but I have on-going problems
finding the threads to which I've contributed:

1. Search results come back in no particular order (most recent first would
help).
2. Searching can be random, e.g. I recently posted "Find/replace in all
areas of document" into Word Programming and yet typing "Find/replace" in the
Search For box gives a list without this entry.

Can anyone from the website design team at M/soft have a look at these
problems as they are the weakest link in this vital service you provide?

Thanks

You would find it much simpler to navigate these forums if you accessed them
using a newsreader - see http://www.gmayor.com/MSNews.htm

Thanks Graham but I'm afraid my company won't allow us to use newsreaders.

Search the archives thru Google. That's what I do. I delete the posts every
so often in my newsreader so occasionally I need to looks something up
myself. Google is DEFINITELY the easiest way.
