Default Word Viewer 97

I have an older system with Millenium Edition and Word 6.0. I downloaded the
Word Viewer to see a document sent to me and it converted all of my Word
Documents to Word Viewer and I can't edit any of them. Any suggestions to fix
this problem?

Thank you for your input. I did not find it in the "open" box and when I
sought to locate it it said that it was located in the USER.DAT file, but
when I opened it I did not find the winword.reg file. Any other suggestions?

Sorry, I was confused by the subject line, which I mistook to
mean you had Word 97. In Word 6.0, find the winword6.reg file
and double-click it to re-register Word.
